Previously, I was able to mention the history of Curacautín, right? Well now we have paused to mention to see an additional protagonist who joins our group, and it is none other than Pehuencura, this unique character was one of those responsible for originating our beautiful commune.
This giant was a mythical character of a giant whose habitat was the large and white mountain range, in addition to running through that sector which was part of the cut stone.
Pehuencura lived in a cavern with a fireplace due to the cold it was in the area, which kept the fire from him and yet, he met other friends who distracted him, the cavern heated up forming billions of turbulently hot waters. And it is from that origin that the thermal waters would be born, which in turn would create the hot springs.
But this also allowed the birth of another place that is the Piedra Cortada, which represented the relationship between one or two routes that were used as contraband.
The story of the Holy Stone dealt with a girl who was running away from two men. It was when Pehuencura welcomed her and prevented the men from entering the cave, Despite everything Pehuencura prevented him by creating this famous stone. This has sensed that many priests spread to make a mass that was never performed. However, his legacy will continue to be at the foot of those who pass through that historic milestone on the International Route that goes from Victoria to Pino Hachado.
Thanks to Raúl Doussoulin Worner for delivering this testimony, which was adapted by his grandson Andre Doussoulin Casagrande.
